WOYWW 278: Cheap stamps from China

I'm joining again in the WOYWW fun at the Stamping Ground! So what's on my dining room table work desk today? I've just received a couple of stamp sets that I ordered from Amazon last week. They were VERY cheap, so I didn't expect much and I was pleasantly surprised!

One of them is a vintage typewriter alphabet set with lower AND uppercase letters plus numbers and punctuation marks! 70 stamps in total! They are just the right size for cards, tags and art journalling. They come in a cute little wooden box. I've been wanting something like this for a while. I find the popular DoveCraft mini alphabet stamps a bit too small for my liking. These are slightly bigger. Here are some piccies:

Isn't it lovely? It cost £5.30 including delivery. I think that's really good value! I also bought a set of six decorative circle stamps, which cost a total of £1.59 with free delivery! I try not to think of the fact that these were probably made in a Chinese sweat shop. Just the postage would cost more than this in the UK!

I really like the quality of both sets. They're perfectly serviceable stamps and will be useful for my future projects. If you would like to buy these, I'll give you the direct links, but keep in mind that prices on Amazon fluctuate, so you might see different prices. Do shop around! (These are my affiliate links - if you'd rather not click on them, just search on Amazon directly.)

You will have seen in my first photo that I used the alphabet stamps to spell "Sunday Sentiments". I used that stamped image to create a digital banner for a weekly link party I'm planning to host, similar to WOYWW.  If you're intrigued and would like to find out more, please click on the banner below.
